Briana Cott

Briana Cott was called to the bar in 2016 and she has worked in insurance defence litigation since then.

Briana’s practice focuses on bodily injury motor vehicle claims and statutory accident benefits claims. She handles claims of varying complexity for both BI and SABS matters.

Briana has experience handling all types of accident benefits claims, including issues related to the MIG and catastrophic impairment cases, as well as claims for all specified benefits. She has appeared numerous times before the Superior Court of Justice for her bodily injury matters, and has also appeared frequently before the License Appeal Tribunal. She has argued preliminary motions before the LAT, including the issue of relevance and appropriateness of compelling productions.
